Please see below our terms and conditions

1. All dogs being exercised must be fully vaccinated and on a regular flea and worm control regime.

2. Bitches in season will not be accepted on a group dog walk and it is up to the owner to advise Darla & Penny Pet Sitting of this.

3. All dogs being walked will undergo a 1 week trial period to ensure that they are happy and all is well. 

4. Darla & Penny Pet Sitting reserves the right to cancel at any time and with immediate effect if the dog does not respond well to the walker and/or other dogs.

5. The client must supply suitable leads and collars for their dog. (Although Darla & Penny Pet Sitting’ spares can be used if needed).

6. All dogs will be exercised on a lead unless prior agreement has been reached with Darla & Penny Pet Sitting. 

7. Darla & Penny Pet Sitting are not liable for the loss of the dog, any injury caused to the dog or any damage the dog causes whilst walked off the lead if the owner has failed to previously mention any issues. 

8. The walker will apply personal judgement and cut short a walk or cancel if necessary because of extreme weather conditions (ie heat, thunder storms) for the safety of both the dogs and the walker, if so the owner will be notified.

2. If medication is to be administered, clear instructions must be given during the consultation and an authorization signature is required. 

3. The client must provide all items necessary for your pet to be adequately cared for in the clients absence.

4. Darla & Penny Pet Sitting will properly dispose of pet waste, however the client shall ensure there is an appropriate supply of bags and cleaning equipment for that purpose and indicate their preferred method / location of disposal for House & Pet Sitting.

5.The client shall provide sufficient food, litter/sawdust and any treats for their pet for the duration of the service.

6. Darla & Penny Pet Sitting will keep the clients house, pet and pet equipment in a clean and tidy state as found and will only provide services agreed specifically and listed in the service agreement.

7. Darla & Penny Pet Sitting shall clean up after your pet to the best of their ability.

8. For House Sitting, the client shall make available cleaning materials in the event of any ‘accidents’ within their property.

9.For house Sitting, the client should leave their thermostat settings within a normal comfortable range. If the house temperature is outside of this range, Darla & Penny Pet Sitting will adjust the thermostat to ensure the health and comfort of your pet.

10. Sleeping arrangements for both Darla & Penny Pet Sitting and your pets will be made during the initial consultation.

11. Darla & Penny Pet Sitting will make adequate steps to ensure your home is safe and secure in your absence, however Personal Pet Services cannot be held responsible for any burglaries or accidents caused by your pet(s).

12.For House & Pet Sitting, clients will be charged 24hrs payment per night even if arrival/departure hours are shortened by the client.

13.Pet food and instructions will need to be provided by the client. 

14.When booking with Darla & Penny Pet Sitting you agree that your pet(s) can be left for periods of time (usually up to 5hrs) so that Cait can continue with any regular clients or looking after her own pets. 

(If there are any questions with this please ask prior to booking. If pet(s) cannot be left for this period of time then a prior agreement can be made between the owner and Darla & Penny Pet Sitting).

15.If pets require an overnight service Darla & Penny Pet Sitting will strive to accommodate this, if for any reason your sitter has a personal/family emergency then time may be taken away from pet(s) throughout the night to resolve any issues, your sitter will return at their earliest convenience and ensure pet(s) are not affected. 

16.If the premises where Darla & Penny Pet Sitting are staying has a camera fitted, please be aware that you may need to disconnect the camera to maintain the sitter’s privacy (for example bedroom cameras). 

17.Where a security camera is fitted, the owner shall not purposefully record their sitter, the owner takes full responsibility for recording only for security purposes to maintain their sitter’s privacy. 

18.Where a security camera is fitted, the owner understands that not all cameras have accurate recording times, therefore the owner may not be covered under Darla & Penny Pet Sitting’ insurance policy. 

1. Clients must notify the veterinary surgery or groomers that Darla & Penny Pet Sitting will be attending the appointment on their behalf and ensure that arrangements for payment have been made with the vet or groomers prior to the appointment.

2. Please note that due to taxi licensing regulations, I sadly cannot accept human passengers.

1. Darla&PennyPetSitting agrees to perform duties as per previous agreement between the equine owner and sitter.
2. Any additional duties are accepted subject to conversation and written agreement/amendment to the original contract.
3. Darla&PennyPetSitting should not be expected to perform duties outside of sheltered areas in extreme weather conditions. Eg 23+ degrees in Summer, heavy snowfall, storm-like conditions.
4. Darla&PennyPetSitting do not consent to being purposefully recorded by CCTV unless previously stated before/during the contract-stage.
5. Darla&PennyPetSitting should not be expected to perform unreasonable duties where more than one equine is present unless previously agreed. Eg if payment is made for Poo picking during one time slot on a specific day, the sitter should not be expected to poo pick for 2+ days worth of muck during the same slot.
